I have a 2013 FX that has been converted to and FXs. It has the S forks and I put the lower fender on it.
Looking at the photos, it appears that the lower part of the forks are the same as the S so I would imagine
that it is possible.
I would contact Harlan at Hollywood Electrics if you are in the U.S. If not, take a close look at both bikes at
your local dealer to see if they look similar enough.

S front wheel is 17”. DS is 19”. With a stock fender it most likely will not fit.

On my 2014 S, there are two different sets of holes.
My assumption was that they used the same lower fork
for S and DS. I looked at the OPs Local Time and he / she
appears to be in the U.S. So contacting Hollywood Electrics
should be easy for absolute answer.

What year DS? ‘14 and earlier had FastAce forks and ‘15 and later use Showa. I was referring to the Showa forks.

Yes, I have done this with help from Hollywood Electrics, and I intend to do it again on my own with my newer DSR.

You need to make simple extension brackets that push the fender 2" higher to clear the dual sport front wheel. You will also need to drill an additional hole on each side in the lower fork bracket "horns" that mount the fender to install the bracket. I will follow up with a design once I've confirmed my fitment, and can probably make the brackets in bulk cheaply, but I'm not inclined to operate a mail-order supply...
