3k for a plug and plastics is a hard pill to swallow. anyone have a leftover hanging around that they're willing to sell for a reasonable price?

Have you considered painting or a wrap?

I dont think OP is looking at a color swap. He's looking for a discounted charge tank because CT + different tank plastics is around $3k.

@OP, have you checked ebay for the plastics? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Zero-Motorcycle-17-Charge-Tank-Cover-24-08268-10-Yellow/292649661849?hash=item4423477599:g:8qsAAOSw6fpbU3Kk

My existing plastics have brake fluid staining/marking quite bad, but i think i could recondition if needed. I do want to add the charge tank so i can use conventional EV chargers, but the tenderness from my initial purchase is still sore.

And the ebay listing looked good, but it lacks the actual charging ability, its just the plastics
