Display not showing torque, revs or regen on a Zero DSR
« on: December 15, 2019, 06:08:31 AM »

My Zero DSR Black Forest 2018 is no longer displaying torque or revs. On turning it on, the display flashes the bars on the right then goes back to zero. But when I ride, it stays at zero, not showing torque or regen.

Can I turn it on again using the ALT and SEL buttons or the mobile app?

To answer your question: no. But you can try to see those values on the mobile app in ride mode. The settings screen lets you add those readings. That’s a way to confirm that the issue is in or near the display rather than in the reading itself.

Why this would occur like this is unclear. I don’t know how those might be related. Try sending the bike logs to Zero or decoding them yourself in case there’s a relevant message.

It could be that the connection from the wiring to the dash is unseated or some similar subtlety. Or maybe there’s moisture damage to that area of the display or the circuitry driving it.
