Two down, one to go.  Portsmouth NH this Saturday.  Exeter NH and Kitter ME were cool last Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone else up for a visit to downtown Portsmouth?  We'll be in the Bridge Street Parking lot from 9-12.

Steve

Sorry, the Portsmouth Event is on Sunday!

I can't make it to the Atlanta event but I've ridden 4 out of 5 days this week to work so that counts.  :)

I rode in today, 38 degrees F for 50 miles.  It's official, I am a fair weather biker...

From my perspective the San Francisco NDEW event was a dud. When I arrived at 11 am (the official start time) there was one other electric motorcycle there, a 2013 DS.  He left after 30 minutes. I stuck around for 90 minutes before giving up and leaving.  I just had one person stop by and check out my Zero. Most of the people there were either displaying their cars or manning a popup selling one thing or another. Very few visitors seem to be wandering about. There was also one e-bike vendor. Most of the action was adjacent to us, where hundreds of local residents were attending the 25th Sunset District Fair.

The NDEW event last year, located in San Mateo had about three times as many vehicles displayed, including the Energica importer, a cop Zero, and a couple other Zeros, besides mine.  You would have thought that the San Francisco event would have been better attended.   ???  Photos attached.

There was one vendor who was pushing a new app that might be of interest to someone.  It is called the "ampup" and claims to "Accelerate EV Adoption, share your charger"; "Choose reservation schedule, pricing and pay-out"; "CARma Points -earned credits for future charging and charitable donations". ($10 off when you make an account with code: NDWLA1)  The front of their handout says that the app provides "Stress Free EV Driving", Skip the hunt, guarantee your spot with a reservation".

Not something that I am interested in, though.  However, the vendor did seem to know a lot about electric motorcycles so that was a plus.  I talked to him for about 10 minutes until another potential customer dropped by and I took off.

Naturally, I’m unable to support local EV events while I’m recovering from my injury and my DSR is a total loss. Thanks for showing up.
