...My main concern is the seat height of the DSR.  It is manageable, but I keep thinking the SR is a better fit for me (30” inseam)...

I suggest you ride with some taller boots (same inseam here and rode a DSR). Forestry boots did the trick for me, nothing extreme. I've also heard of good outcomes from changing the seat for a custom (i.e. Corbin) seat.

Congrats on the DSR.
I'm 30" inseam with a 17 DSR.  Mostly a non issue.  When you come to a stop just keep your right foot on the peg and use the rear brake.
Left foot on the ground with a slight bend in the knee, it's rock solid even on up hill stops.
You'll remember to park in spots where you can just pull straight out of soon enough.  :)
Enjoy.

Thanks, everyone. I’m also 30” inseam and it hasn’t been an issue. I am close to being able to flat foot.  I usually stop with my right foot on the rear brake and left foot flat on the ground. I was mainly concerned with backing out of the driveway what has a good sized gutter.  On the Stelvio I had with a slightly higher seat height, I had trouble with this and dropped the bike once. After that I had to manually push it out into the street then get on it. On the DSR, the seat is low enough and the weight is lower with a low center of gravity that it hasn’t been an issue.  I’m enjoying the DSR a lot and definitely feel like I got the right model.

I reread your OP and that's a great set up.
One thing I would suggest is picking up a Quiq charger.  They cut your charging time in half and some of us have a theory that it helps lengthen the life of the on board charger by sharing the load .  It can also charge the bike by itself if needed.
Glad your enjoying it.
