Good luck finding that out.  We might find out the sales numbers of the LiveWire some day, but I doubt we will ever officially know what the sales numbers are for the Energica or Zero in the U.S. unless and until they become publicly owned and start selling their stock in the public market and are forced to provide that information to conform with U.S. stock market laws.  At least the EU is giving us some idea what EV sales are each year. Unfortunately, I bet sales of electric vehicles (that are not automobiles) are higher in the EU than they are in the U.S. - for a number of reasons.

I do wonder how much of that nice increase is actual motorcycles vs. scooters/mopeds/quadricycles  . I suspect it's mostly the latter.

It's important to note that unlike the US where anything up to a 750W and a 20mph is considered an e-bicycle (IIRC 1kW and 28mph in some states), can have a throttle control, and doesn't need a license, registration or insurance, in most of the EU they're much more limited.
Pretty much anything with a >250W motor, a >15mph motorized speed or that has a throttle  does need all three (an e-bicycle motor can only be used as an assist, and doesn't operate without pedaling).

Interesting. In France, the figure is +60:
    208 sales for BMW's EVO
      41 for Zero
    +400% for KTM (but only 5 units sold)
   

Quad mis à part, le deux-roues électrique des équivalents 125 ou plus enregistre une hausse de 52,7 % avec 536 véhicules vendus. Mais on note que les grandes marques sont désormais à la peine. BMW est en baisse avec son C-Evolution (208 exemplaires vendus à fin mars 2019, soit une régression de 16,1 %) tandis que Zero Motorcycles, malgré une gamme qui ne cesse de s'étoffer, n'a vendu que 41 engins, soit une baisse de 10,9 %.

Ceux qui tirent leur épingle du jeu font du petit scooter utilitaire ou de l'engin pas cher : on passera sur les 400 % de hausse de KTM (ils ont vendu 5 motos, au lieu de une EXC l'an dernier), pour retenir que c'est en fait NIU qui accapare le gros du marché, avec 177 engins vendus en trois mois, en équivalent 125. En revanche, si l'on passe sur le marché "équivalent 50", on remarque toujours la belle performance de NIU (1057 engins vendus en trois mois), celle de Govecs (898), celle de Ligier Pro (369, principalement sur des marchés publics), alors que Piaggio a déjà vendu 44 Vespa Elettrica, un chiffre qui ne peut que grimper car ce scooter électrique, tout juste essayé par Maya, vient d'arriver sur le marché. En tout, le cyclo électrique est en progression de 160,3 % à 3183 unités...

Yep. Not sure I completely follow -- my French is a bit rusty, but it seems to imply it's figures for Q1 '18 vs '19, rather than H1 '18 vs '19, but still a decline of 16% for BMW, and 10% for Zero (all models together).
The increase is all scooters: The vast majority (a couple of thousand) are scooters equivalent to 50cc mopeds (30mph top speed, 40-50mi range) or 125cc (45mph top speed), and a few of the new Vespa Electric. 40% of the scooters are models specifically for urban cargo delivery like fast food.

Bottom line: In France, actual motorcycle sales actually went down, and they make only 9% of the market anyway.

Yes. There are several 3000 - 4000$ 50cc Chinese models on the market (ie limited to 45 km/h, 50 km/h being the legal limit in the city. The ad also claim that you can "onluck the speed up to 70 km/h to ride on a close circuit'). Also you don't need any license for the 50cc, and you can take the battery with you to charge it.

The premium for BMW & Zero are quite high - for sure the experience is different but many drivers just want a two wheelers.
