SOLD: J1772 Adapter for sale
« on: October 10, 2019, 01:58:30 AM »

Well, I bought this two years ago from someone who had a Charge Tank installed and no longer needed it.  At the time a new one was selling for $300.00 from Zero.

I just had a Charge Tank installed on my S, so I no longer need it either.  Only used a couple of times and it is in excellent condition.  Asking $50.00 (I see new ones now sell for half the original price at $150.00 at AF1 Racing).  I'll pay for the shipping.

Note that this does NOT speed up charging; it only allows you to use a J1772 charging station to get a charge (finding open 110V outlets is NOT easy which is why I bought it in the first place).

Zero doesn't seem to have their "Accessories Page" up and running yet, but here is a link to the AF1 page with product details:

Tuscon EV charges $90 (including shipping) so that's a great deal ^-^

I'll take it Jamie.  I went to the only charging station I've tried over the weekend at a park built by the power company in the area.  They had a 110 outlet but the slots were covered.
Good thing I could still get back.   How long is the cord by the way?  You can PM me and we can get Paypal and shipping sorted out.
Crissa can vouch for me, I pay. :)

I thought that we could use the onboard charger in tandem with the charge tank to get up to 7.3kW of charging speed. A Zero Motorcycle employee confirmed this on Reddit as far as I can tell.
So can u not use this to plug one cable into standard charger and another into the charge tank?

Shayan, yes to the first part no to the last part.
This type of plug just lets you use a J1772 station instead of a wall outlet to power your onboard charger at the 1.3kWs like you'd get from home.
Now you could use this with one J1772 plug (male) for your onboard and a second J1772 plug (male) for you charge tank but the cord on here only
connects to the C14 side socket on the bike.

Sorry Pyromancy.  If I ever no longer need it I'll repost it on the forum.
