I've been following EBR (Erik's company post Buell Motorcycle Company) from its inception and know MANY people who have them.  In all the years I've been following them I haven't heard ONE story of one of them "exploding" under the rider.  Do you have a link to back this up?

Ok this could go a lot of ways but since you asked: I am a little hesitant because you are the first person in years that has made claims about knowing anything first hand in the EBR world to not know about the motors blowing... Even former employees...

This is not even one of the ones I was talking about but the first link in a basic "EBR blown engine" google search:

Here are a few more words and pictures regarding the two Fuell model prototypes. (Frankly, those names don't really grab me.) I really find it interesting that the Fuell Flow has 50 liters of internal storage.  You would think that space could be better utilized for storing batteries instead of air.   ::)   https://electricmotorcycles.news/the-flow-and-fluid-prototypes-from-fuell-are-in-new-york-city/

It's designed to be an urban commuter, NOT a main vehicle.  Storage space is more important than range.

BTW, I got an invitation to attend an unveiling in Manhattan but I can't find the invitation in my E-Mail box at the moment.  The bikes will be on display for four weeks after the unveiling.  Once I find the information I will respond.

If the Flow is going to be a city commuter, then they had better keep the price really low.  Especially, with the $2,500 + fees CSC City Slicker already on the market and apparently a perfect vehicle for the urban commuter.

It will be interesting to see how that (apparently) single-side-supported hub motor works out.  I am not quite sure what to make of that short piece of swing arm at the right side of the bike.  ???

As pointed out earlier......

Looks to me the passenger pegs are not on the swingarm as posters on other forums seem to be stating.
