new charger GWP 3400 Watts
« on: May 25, 2018, 04:49:57 PM »

Hello everyone
it seems to be new at GWP. A new charger is output in 3400 watts. To see if it is compatible with the 1300 watts of origin!

Judging by the voltage output they are building it to Zero spec's, maybe it's next year's stock charger ;)

Yes it seems to me that he is preparing this next charger for 2019! if we could adapt to our current zero it would be great because I had 2 charger failures in 2 years is catastrophic. It seems that CAN signal connections are compatible but too thick to replace the 1300 watts.

With a little modification to the skid pan this seems like it would fit

At what price the company GWL will sell this charger! Elcon seems to be a better compromise and probably more reliable

I think the Elcons are not waterproof.

Also note that GWP makes the problematic charger currently used on the 2014+ models, so hopefully they learned from their mistakes with this unit, as far as I remember you can't buy one for personal use you must be an OEM

The 3.4kW charger seems to have been reclassified as part of their DC-DC converter range, and the URL/page migrated to:
http://greenwattpower.com/3-4kw-dc-dc-converter-series/

Although this is also available rated 3.3kW:

Output voltage is 200 minimum on the 3.3kW, would that be a problem?
