It just dawned on me:  Shouldn't that be a "Check Motor Light"?

I'm a strong believer that in the context of vehicles, a motor is powered by electricity and an engine is powered by combustible material.  Apparently, it's not that clear cut of an issue.  For example, see https://jalopnik.com/you-can-totally-call-an-engine-a-motor-1818860405 .

Along the same lines, I'm opposed to calling the thing my right hand grabs a throttle.
