The Revmotiv Technology 75S
« on: January 02, 2019, 09:05:38 PM »

Revmotiv Technology has announced its new 75S model.  It has everything on it, maybe even the kitchen sink. I think it may even have more electronic devices than a new BMW.  I particularly like the "tip prevention" feature.  ::) I sure wish I had one of those on my BMW.  ;)

Check out this list of amazing new features that the 75S will be offering:

The 75s is poised to compete in the burgeoning electric motorcycle space and offers world leading innovative technology including cloud based real-time telemetry data available to share on a social platform, variable regen, innovative torque control limiting wheel slip, wheelie angles, braking assist, and tip prevention in corners, along with customizable and selectable ride profiles which include torque limitations, speed limitations, regen profiles, and more. The bike also includes the option to have electronically generated sounds, amplification of the electric motor sound, or a stealth mode with no sound.

Not only that but:  It will offer a liquid cooled motor, liquid cooled controller, liquid cooled battery pack and battery management system, Vehicle Control Unit, Torque Control Unit, Telemetry system, and custom non-touchscreen 7” screen (why non-touchscreen? Simple. Safety. Taking your hands off the bars on a motorcycle to touch the screen is dangerous). The bike will truly be the first of its kind.

All this and it will have:

    Carbon Fiber/ABS Body
Range of up to 200 miles
Battery pack ranging from 10kWh to 15kWh
    Facial recognition
Ultra Fast Charging 80% of charge in 20 minutes
    0-60 MPH in 3 seconds
Electronically limited Top Speed of 120 MPH
Torque control for Traction Control and drive selection
    Customizable driving profiles

(Not mentioned, but noticeable, is the carrying handle on the top of the bike for when it runs out of power.  ;D  )

All this for a "price point" starting in the "low teens".  This new amazing electric motorcycle will be available for purchase during late 2019, with deliveries occurring in 2020.  So get your deposit in early.  No doubt RevMotiv will be happy to have you as an investor, too.

RevMotiv is a group of engineers, designers, and car enthusiasts that are taking on the electric automotive industry. Our motivation comes from a love of cars, power, and dream of creating a greener planet. Our passion is driven by a respect for tradition and social responsibility to the planet and our community. This translates to our RevTech â„¢ engineers designing and building greener, safer, and more energy efficient drivetrains. We honor those that came before, but to truly make a difference we cannot stand idle and must improve where others have left off.

Sounds like a great bunch of guys to me.   And they must really need your money from the looks of the model's clothing.   :o

I can hardly wait until 2020 arrives!   ::)

Hey Richard - did that post include a link to the bike? I couldn't find one, but it might just be my eyes.

I want all that to be true, but it sounds like they're promising three times as much bike as a Zero for the same or less cost? You know what they say when something is too good to be true...

Sorry about omitting the link.  Here it is:  https://electricmotorcycles.news/revmotiv-technology-announces-pre-production-development-of-the-75s/

BenderEMF summed up my thoughts exactly.  After reading all of their specifications, and then their projected price, I was wondering if the base model included wheels, tires, and street legal lighting??

Kind of sounds like a big smart phone on wheels.  ::) I am still trying to figure out what is up with the model sitting on the bike.  I wonder who picked his/hers clothing and why he/she is not showing his/hers face.   ???

Did you see that the top speed (unlimited) is equivalent to about 220 miles per hour? I think this is someone's dream, not a real bike. I'm not convinced the photo isn't just a computer rendering.

2019--- the year Harry turns his skepticism up to 11.  ;D

The specs are incredible....  The appearance NOT so much....  They need to invest in a good Italian designer !!!!

Very interesting.  I had posted a link to this article on Facebook on the Zero Motorcycle Owner's Group and the moderator got a DMCA take-down notice.  Apparently, the model (whose head is actually chopped off in the photo accompanying the article) did NOT give her permission for that photo to be used because she was NEVER PAID.  I guess just chopping her head off wasn't good enough.  In any event, you have to wonder about a company that would do something like that.

The model's name is Deimante Mellune and this is her page:  https://www.facebook.com/tomboyabitpage/?hc_location=ufi

Even more photograph-related hijinx.  The photo on their website, beyond being a render, is a downright fake.  Check out this model's REAL photo on a real bike:

Then check out the photo on the website:

Cough, cough...I'm choking on the vapor here. Send help!

Kudos to Morgan Vetter on the the Zero Motorcycles Owner page on Facebook for finding the photo.

Well, that pretty much drives the last nail into that hot air coffin.   ::)  Who needs to manufacture anything when you have a computer to bring your hot air into reality?  And it really stinks when you steal someone's photo and use it to promote your product.  >:(   Obviously a good company to steer clear of.  I wonder what country they are operating from?

There's some more discussion about it on Facebook. Here's the link:

Travis seems to be defending it as a viable company with a viable product, but damn, the marketing mis-steps and the crazy specs.

COUGH  COUGH  COUGH
Guys where did all this vapor come from?  This is a no vaping forum.  :)
The internet is like a pretty woman.  You want to believe it wouldn't lie to you but in your heart you know better.

I guess when the scam trolls start to use electric bikes for their scams at least the technology is getting noticed.
Still I think 2019 and 20 will be a tipping point for EVs.
