An Electric Ducati?

I am not holding my breath until this happens, in spite of what the article tries to promote.  Just check out the included video. You can start watching at minute 6.  ::)   https://www.autoblog.com/2017/10/23/ducati-planning-electric-bike-by-2030-vw-volkswagen/

It is happening though. A firm that deals with EV powertrains local to where I live is working with Ducatti.

Given Volkswagen owns Ducati and  is attempting to get over " diesel gate " it COULD happen. Yamaha
is going electric but with bicycles for now, Honda has the eCub. One never knows

I think they are all positioning for the "go" signal, which is when internal
combustion is outlawed in a major jurisdiction they are *required* to
go electric or cede that market.  Only then will they gear up.  Until then,
they are happy selling what they've been selling and pay lip service to going
green.
