Hi all,
For a bit of background, part of my job at my company involves engineering EV powertrains. That means we have a programmable DC power source to charge HV battery packs and the power to match available (see spec linked).
https://magna-power.com/assets/files/datasheets/datasheet_ms_4.2.0.pdfIs it possible that I could use this power source in the DC aux inlet on a 2017 Zero SR to charge the bike quickly at work (less than the 1C rate obviously)?
I have read of some people using an aux charger while the onboard is running in order to taper the charge at the end and finish with the onboard. Heard this also keeps the bike on.
I saw on the unofficial manual what the Anderson connector is for that aux input, but what other signals/communication/etc goes through that port besides the DC +/-?
Thanks for the help in advance! Not sure if I'm going to jump into this but wanted to know the extent of the project it would turn into
