Zero app for Gen2 bikes has been updated
« on: March 09, 2022, 05:53:47 PM »

According to the "What's New" info, there are bug fixes and performance improvements in this release.  Since I am currently without any Zero (my 2018 S was destroyed when I got hit by a one-eyed truck driver last December) I can't say if there's any difference.  Just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention.

Are you talking Android or iOS??

The iOS app for gen2 bikes is 2.1.2 and was updated 3 months ago, not recently per the Apple app store.   It was for support for new model year motorcycles per the version history.

This doesn't means that on play store there isn't a new version.
Version 2.1.3 have been updated on March 4th on android playstore.

Weird, my version number is 2.2.5, so more up to date apperently, but it was updated September last year.

Are we talking about the same app? Could it be their old legacy app, not the one called Zero Next Gen?

Reading the subject of this thread should give you a hint of what we are speaking about.
GEN2 bikes are the FX/FXS/FXE and S/SR/DS/DSR bikes so, the Zero app for GEN2 is not Next Gen app that is used by SR/F and SR/S bikes.
BTW you are correct, NextGen app version is 2.2.5 updated on play store on September 17, 2021.

That looks like the one that I have for my 2018 S Zero on my Android phone. It seems to work OK and for some reason connects to my bike via Bluetooth much faster than it did in the past.  :)
