FS: Electric R6 with Zero Motor
« on: January 02, 2018, 01:58:10 AM »

Sad to do this but I am putting my Electric R6 up for sale.  Here in I Ohio I dont get enough use out of it due to temperature and lack of motivation to gear up and ride it other days.  Looking to turn the money into an electric car conversion.

I have had this bike together for about 4 years now and have around 7000 electric miles on it.  Zero issues with bike since getting it up and running.  Love it.  Pictures https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kal4-D2AxVNQbPj9qF_OM4YNC4gg67CB

That is a really good-looking conversion. What kind of BMS runs and balances that battery?

Thank you sir.  Currently no BMS.
Pack is manually top balanced using a PL8 balance charger.  I’ve done that twice, but wasn’t really needed the second time.  Undercharging to 108.3V (4.165V/cell) keeps me good on the top end and the controller power limits at the bottom. I’ve only hit the lower voltage/power limit about 5 times in regular use.  I plan to rebalance the battery before selling.

Also the bike was original setup for 28s, but I decided to experiment with opening one of the modules and it didn’t go so well so I just reset everything for 26s

The new Leaf modules should also be a drop in replacement. The 82Ah modules would drop right in, give you 8kWh and only add about 15-20lbs

Price lowered. Motivated to sell. Probably going to part it out in a few weeks if I can’t sell the whole thing.
