...and very civilised it was too! The charge seemed to drop from 3% to 0% in an instant, but I kept riding at 0% for about a mile. By the time I got home the bike was struggling to do 30mph, but that's fine. It was doing 40 mph no problem at 3%.

The State of Charge reading is one you can rely on. It makes a big difference because I'm able to adjust my riding if needed and have the confidence that I'll get to my destination. That is a big deal because it eliminates range anxiety. I'm not surprised that Terry has earnt a reputation for rolling in with an empty battery on a regular basis.

I have done this twice with 2.5 miles at 25 mph until shutoff.. Except when it was cold out it went from 12% to 2% instantly then died about 10 seconds later and left me stranded a mile and steep hill from home....

yeah... driving 30mph on the roads around here is a good way to get creamed from behind.
