"But we are worried that in a massive power outage they wont be able to charge" god damn I haven't laughed that hard in a while....the power being off for more than 12 hrs for a whole city hasnt happened in my entire lifetime, one time pg&e failed their contract; my street and I were out of power for 48 hrs. Considering every police station has massive generators I think they could figure it out....


Why are purely gas people so damn dumb.....

Well of course they do!!! I mean doesnt everyone have a hand pump for when the power goes out

When the grid is down you could pedal your gas into your car, or perhaps you could just pedal to where you want to go.

When Sandy hit New York, bikes were the only vehicles getting around.  No gas for cars, debris blocking the road, no trails.  The bike can pick right over the fallen tree and does not need gas.
