LongRiders Radio Interview
« on: March 22, 2016, 10:42:05 PM »

I was recently interviewed by LongRider Radio and they recently uploaded it to their website.  The interview touches upon a variety of the most often asked questions and I share a few stories about life on the road.  Feel free to share with friends who want to hear more about long range electric riding.
Cheers!

So I skipped a few of my podcasts to catch BenSwing's interview with Long Riders. Ben came across as a genuinely nice guy. It was kind of amusing at the beginning as the host had a little trouble wrapping his head around some of the day-to-day life of electric motorcycles. Overall, I think Ben did an excellent job of driving home the way he uses his Zero: Ride, charge & talk, ride some more. He may not be able to eat up as many miles in a day as an ICE bike, but eating up the most miles in a day isn't exactly the point of riding a motorcycle, is it?

BTW - I totally sympathize with Ben about his Least Favorite Road, I-95 around Washington DC. I hate it too.  Anyhow, Ben did a great job. Way to represent!

Speaking of which... are you planning on doing Rolling Thunder again this year? I think it would be amusing if the local electric bike owners did a Rolling Whisper. What a great name.

Thanks Semper, I appreciate the feedback!  Your idea about Rolling Whisper is awesome!  I would love to be a part of that but I have a wedding to go to that day.  However, now that there is probably a critical mass of riders in the area, that would be a great idea!  If several electric bikers participated and maybe had little signs printed for their bikes it would make a good statement.

Great idea!
