Pick any color for a new Zero for free! At least in Austin.

Showing this ad to show their offer but I'm wondering who is picking up the tab?
Just the dealer or is it Zero hearing that a lot of people don't like the new colors?

My bet is that the dealer is either paying for the repainting, using stock 2017 Zero colors, or has discovered that Zero has extra 2017 painted leftover fairing parts in their factory that they are willing to install on new bikes, in the hopes of growing their Zero sales.  It is my feeling that selling Zeros is going to be tough next year, what with no federal rebate incentive, some state rebates fading away and (in particular) the lack of any major improvements to the Zero chassis and power train for the past few years. I think it is a smart move for the dealer - if it works to bring customers into their shop.  More color options are always appreciated by every motorcycle customer.
