Dashboard display fails
« on: January 28, 2016, 04:42:23 PM »

Hi guys,
I've had my SR 2014 for several months and this morning the dashboard failed displaying the informations:
It is lit but the different numbers and the battery state are not displayed...
I saw these information becoming transparent in a few minutes!

I already had this issue time ago and it was after riding under heavy rain (I assume some water may have entered the dashboard) and it came back to normal display after a night in my garage.
but I didn't experience that type of riding these last days!

Do you have ever experienced such issue?
Thx

Yes, I've had the same problem with water ingress in the dashboard on my 2014 SR. If you pull it apart you will probably find moisture on the inside.

Would suggest you take it back to the dealer.

Moisture? How did you manage to fix it? Is a simple "clean" enough or did you have to change the dashboard at your dealer?

I was able to get a replacement display from Zero.
