Francois, you need to acquire a edsdb file from someone who can save their files and import it in place of your own. I had the same proble   With another variable myself. Send me a pm and I will give you a link to a working eds / edsdb files and tell you how to use them.

Hi evtricity,

Searching for the free version of the DVT software, I have found your message:
"3. Sevcon DVT Customer software - free, if you're willing to use one of the older versions such as 1.03c (Google is your friend, as is Dropbox in this case)"

As we are building an EV kart and will use for the first version a Sevcon controller, I am very interested about that. Unfortunately, Google was not my friend in this case. Could you please help?

For our first prototype, we will buy the controller and motor from the same supplier and have the pros program it so they work together. But eventually we would like to experiment with that.

Thank you.

Doc,

The image in the file you attached shows CAN Hi as pin 7 (rather than 8 ) and this configuration works for me on a v1.5 IXXAT adaptor.

Here's the picture from the attached file.

Am I missing something here?

Just did a continuity test on my adaptor which goes through another board with pins / bridge etc to connect wires to pins. The CAN HI is indeed pin 7 on my adaptor v1.6 1.01.0087.10200

Maybe Doc is counting from right to left on first row of pins ? If idk what is wrong >__<
