I cannot say exactly how I know this.   :-X

I do know that if the powertank module voltage is higher then the monolith that it will cause issues with the motor drive.  Once the powertank is in a tracking the same SoC and voltage of the main battery there is no issue.

I had that problem on my Mexico to Canada trip this summer.  I mention it toward the end around 3:40.



I just had to charge all the way to 100% and they evened out.

3 weeks in the shop, ordered the mbb last week, still not recieved from zero, dealer seemed annoyed that i called to find out wtf is taking so long.
