Nice quadcopter, I got my first (toy) quad for christmas, and I've instructed my 3D printer to make me parts for a bigger one... :)

Some say toy! Wife says problem.... ::) I says great hobby LOL! Anyways back in the day when i made these machines we couldn't buy this stuff. We had to make it. Enjoy the results of us the pioneers that thought out side the box to dream this stuff up. Much like the EVs we play with today. just think of the future!

awe ... just realized I can't do water crossings with my 2013 S (which has DS shocks) because the motor is ventilated -_-

I built a T-rex 450 with GPS etc. and it cost me an absolute fortune but I can't get the thing to work and gave up.  I need to send it to an expert to fix but don't want to get further in the hole.  Will probably end up paying to get it set up and then selling it as working.

Will definitely keep my transmitter and try a quad though.

Heli can be fun the 450 T-rex is pretty good one. They are hard to fly and if you're not familiar with setting it up it will be even harder to fly. See if someone down at your local field can give you a hand. Quads are pretty much easy but you won't get to the level you need flying one of those 450s. Its hands on all the time but you said yours had GPS! that may make it better! Let me know if I can help?
