Default settings for Eco and Sport modes
« on: April 17, 2016, 09:06:57 AM »

I'm keen to play with the Custom settings using the Zero app, but it would greatly help if I knew what the equivalent settings in Eco and Sport modes are. Anyone reverse engineered them to get some numbers?

When I was screwing around with the app a while back, two groups of settings appeared that I did not program in, which were different from the current Custom settings:

86mph top speed / 100% torque / 40% max regen / 66% regen brake

86mph top speed / 40% torque / 66% max regen / 100% regen brake

I have no idea if these are the actual Sport and Eco mode settings, but on my bike it feels like they are.  The first one may be the default Custom setting.

Thanks Ray. At least they're a starting point for experiments!

I don't think so. The Sport mode caps the top speed at... 102? I think? For the SR anyway. And zero regen. Top speed on the S is 95 or so.

In Eco mode, top speed is limited to 70mph. Off throttle regen feels like 80% or so and I haven't tried the brake regen on Eco yet. I presume it's 100%, but again - I haven't tried it.
