The motard fx is one of the best handling bikes on narrow rough turny roads, I can never get enough riding them with the bigger front rotor the stoppies go from iffy to flawless and smooth

I live on a small island with very tight twisty roads and rough services, plus the usual farm byproducts like mud and slurry on corners. I wouldn't consider myself to be a fast rider by any stretch but I never had any trouble keeping up with or pulling away from the sports bikes (except long straights) because they just couldn't handle the roads. Motards are also amazingly confidence inspiring and they crash well. I'm not sure an Fx would take a beating as well as my KTMs but it would be better than the S I'm sure.

Of course it did help that I ran race wets on my SM!
