hello
I bought one months ago a Zero S 2012 ZF9. Very pleased with purchase. Glad I found this forum in France not many forums (except 2roueselectrique.fr ) . I am seeking information on Topcases and bubbles.
ps: sorry for my english, is not perfect

Hello Pierre. The easiest way to carry stuff on a 2009 Zero is by purchasing soft motorcycle luggage. There are many Quality luggage products on the market that will fit the Zero, such as tank bags, saddle bags and seat luggage. If you can obtain a Zero side case mount or rear luggage rack (these may no longer be available unless you manufacture them yourself) then Givi bags and top boxes will be the way to go. Happy farkleing (an English term, primarily used by BMW motorcycle owners, meaning to load up your new motorcycle with expensive accessories that it doesn't really need).

I have a 2013 but you have the same holes I used to make mine. If you want I can make a video about it but this image should be enough with an added description.
I used 2" x 1/8" x 4' bar of steal and bent it into a contour forming spring leaf thingy.
The top is flat (where passenger sits) and he sides curl down like a reverse "S" if viewed from behind.
The holes I use are used to keep the seat on having really long screws. There is also a hole drilled on one side to butt up against the frame to keep it from rotating backwards.
The givi mount is a plastic one I screwed down onto a 3/4" piece of plywood which is also screwed into the steal metal leaf spring thing. So it bounces a little but can hold a ton of weight.

Thank you so much for the video and explanation, I 'll go up just like you are for my futur top case.
Juste a little question : do you reminber the part number (reference) of the Givi top case and the adaptor givi ?

It is the universal mount

The top case I have is the V46 monokey case, the mount above should work with ALL top cases givi makes though.

I used this top case for the size and because I thought it would be easy to modify to include LED lights (and it was). I now have a 60 LED array (30 each side) on the back of the case running off a skene design IQ160TS. Keeps people from riding my butt and makes me more visible from behind.
