Hello all,

i have a question regarding the optional Delta-Q Quickcharger.
I assume, that they are all simply switched in parallel by the y-cables from zero.
How does every charger know the amount of current or voltage to deliver ?
Or are they decoupled with diodes or something like that ?

The chargers AFAIK operate independently in parallel, and use the battery voltage as an input to determine constant current or constant voltage they deliver.

I can only speak for the 2012 Version of the Delta-q but I believe technology is the same.

It is current limited therefore the voltage will be automatically rise with the battery voltage. If it reach the end-voltage the Delta-q reduce the current.
As much as I saw the Delta-q was never disabled it runs his hibernation algorithm -
... Once fully charged, the
     charger will check the status of the power pack     
     once every 72 hours to ensure that it maintains a
     full charge. When fully charged, a green light will
     illuminate on the charger. Should the charger not...

A Delta-q has an enable port (2012 for sure) that allows the BMS to shut off the Qelta-q.
e.g. if the cells are out of  balance it could happen the "current-reduce-value -> Voltage" is not reached but one cell reach the endvoltage and would start a thermal runaway

The ELIPS charger looks really nice; it's about as heavy as and a little smaller than a lower-power elcon 2500.

Do you have a price, or voltage and current spec for the charger?

I too am interested in the IES ELIPS.  Any more info than the website such as a specification sheet and pricing?
