Ryan riding a 2014 Zero FX!
« on: June 26, 2014, 03:48:43 AM »

Ryan did a really nice job with the new gen 75-X  Z-force motor and he deserve all my respect for that as well.

Here is a video he posted recently  showing him riding a 2014 FX!:

Supermoto USA Round 3 at Prairie City Kart Track, California. Open Beginner heat race. Ryan is riding a 2014 Zero MX, the only modifications are Zero S wheels with some used Pirelli supercorsa tires and Zero DS front forks (to fit the larger brake rotor on the S wheels),

Odd to run the DS forks when the '14 FX forks are also 43mm and you could presumably just mount the caliper bracket from Hollywood's supermoto kit.  Are they superior some other way, or just that concerned about keeping it stiff?

I've got my forks away at Lindemann getting upgraded and the Podium RC2 rear shock mounted in anticipation of Stockton 7/20!

the brake bracket from Hollywood Electrics is probably the cheaper way to go, unless you happen to have some matching-year DS forks sitting on a shelf  ;D
