Has anyone opened their battery case near the top on the 11.4's to see if there is enough room and power for a lojack? I have been thinking of the best place to install one if I went that route and the battery seems like the best place.

I have a feeling it is a tight fit in there :/

Anyone have LoJack installed?

I was going to mention that the problem you'll have with Lojack is that there's no "always on" 12V source on the Zero, which the Lojack probably requires, but then I saw who posted this. So Burton, how do you plan to provide that "always on" power for the Lojack?

Actually there is. You would just run a line from your DC-DC sevcon to get access to it or wire another dc-dc converter up. I also imagine there are power sources inside the battery top case.

I'm on that thread, so I was aware that you could rig the DC-DC converter to be always on (great work btw!). But do you know how much current that converter draws even in the absence of external loads? And would keeping the DC-DC converter on run your headlight, dashboard backlight etc. continuously as well?

You're the best guy I know to answer these questions!

Actually DocBass is the best guy to ask ;) He has already set his bike up with an always on source.

Depending on the DC-DC converter your draw will be different. You can put switches on the wires coming out of the fuse box if you wanted to avoid stuff turning on. I think I said that in the video. Not home to be able to check ;)
