mfi wifi power strip
« on: November 21, 2013, 09:21:48 PM »

For those of you interested in monitoring power draw of your bikes, here's a wifi-enabled power strip (monitor + control). Looks pretty solid. 15A per outlet, so should be fine for our chargers.

Funny to see that here.... I run a WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) as one of the segments of our wireless company and we have been using Ubiquiti Radios for years in that business and I have been experimenting with the mFi products since they came out.

They are still a little rough around the edges but the newest Firmware makes things a lot more stable and functional.   One downside of these products is they have to connect to an mFi server so you have to setup a machine or use a machine that you have for the mFi units to check into.
