Foot peg DIY for $6
« on: July 02, 2012, 11:50:00 AM »

- 21" x 0.5" copper pipe ($6)
- 10.5" x 2.5" radius stiff pool noodle (from the garage) plus black sharpie marker on the ends

Push the pipe through the pool noodle and slide the whole thing in the lower cylinder on the bike.  Fits snugly.  Copper color matches the shock and black matches the bike.  See attached photos.

just sayin'

Not bad.. for an occasional use thing that's a lot easier to justify than $350!

Don't forget to install a strap on the seat for the passenger to hold on to.  (Does any passenger really use those straps?)
