« on: May 25, 2013, 10:36:28 AM »

I love these monthly announcements about the latest and greatest battery (and super-capacitor) innovations that will change our world.  Now if they would just put these research concepts into production and make them available for sale in quantity at a reasonable price......   ::)

yes, great - we will see improvements !
a lot of the Aussie system is based on making publications. Converting it to real life products lacks a bit over here. The system - as usual - its always the system. you get more recognition to publish a lot of papers but to make it really work ...
Anyway, hope on the other that as with a lot of aussies that we pick it up and make it really work. Maybe put it into a Catavolt and give the Zero's and Brammos a run for their money !

It be sold to Chinese and they get rich from it, like they did with our solar cell technology, China gov is looking to long term, decades ahead not just next election.
thats why no investments in Australia, if it cant show results in 3 years it wont be supported.

thats why China is building high speed rail and ports / airports in any country that wants it, to get there raw material faster and there products to market.
and with that goes telecomunications, power stations and mining etc. Africa and South America is where China is Investing heavily, untapped markets and rescourses

China will be come a major manufacture of Electric Vehicles, they already have fleets of vehicle in Chinese cities, they want zero emission and independence from OIL.
Lot easier to make electric cars from scratch than internal combustion.
