Zero battery pack repair/relpacement
« on: April 23, 2012, 11:36:37 AM »

I have a 2009 Zero x extreme with one bank bad in the power pack. Can anyone on this forum repair these packs or know who or what business can rePlace the bad cells?  What cells do the x/MX packs use?  I am in Denver but often drive to Texas if pack delivery might be possible.  Buying a good used pack is also an option so contact me if you have one.
Thanks,  Buz

These battery are mande of little cells made by molicel ( made in Canada)

These cells are 3.7V nominal and have 2.9Ah capacity anc can give 40A burst.

The model is IMR-26700A.

There is 14 bank in the battery.

I know that some zero dealer might have few spare bank from dissassembled battery.

or contact zero directly.
