Here is a podcast interview with Craig Bramscher, CEO of Brammo Motorsports.

http://greenlivingideas.com/motorcycles/gtr-the-enertia-electric-motorcycle-and-new-plug-in-technologies-with-b.html

It is from Nov 2007 but still interesting.

Highlights:
- Craig has been a motorcycle enthusiast since a child. Has owned 40+ motorcycles in his life.
- Brammo Enertia designed to be non-intimidating
- Chassis is built based on learnings from the Ariel Atom
  - All carbon fiber chassis is 16 lb vs. 22 lbs for a ktm 125.
- 2x more efficient than a traditional motorcycle
- Carbon footprint is 8% of a car or 20% of traditional motorcycle
- 300+ mpg
- $.07 per mile
- Discusses how riding an electric motorcycle differs from traditional.  I can't do it justice. :D
- Do loud pipes save lives?  Hear Craig's thoughts on it.
- Why Valance for the battery?  Putting a bullet through it will not cause it to expode like other batteries
- Future models will be more performance oriented.
- 300 all carbon fiber models will be built.
- Batteries are the largest cost of the bike.  They are always looking for new battery technology.
