Refuel event 2011
« on: June 25, 2011, 02:11:22 AM »

Anybody out there going to the Refuel time trial this weekend (6/26/11) at Laguna Seca?

I'll be out there on my bike.

I'll be there.  Should be a good time. I hear there will be a few electric motorcycles there, maybe even a couple bmx bikes with 20hp  :o

Hopefully the parking lot is big enough for everyone to "test" their equipment before heading to the track.

Brammo's going to be there.  BrammoBrian tweeted last night that they'll be running the Empulse RR.

It was a great event,  I ended up with a 2nd place finish to Mission Motors in the Prototype/Racing motorcycle class.  I got some GoPro footage that ill throw on youtube in a day or so.

Here is an on-board video of the Mission R taking a lap of Laguna. I got a kick out of the title of the article: "Mission R: looks good, goes well, sounds terrible". I have to agree. My ears are still ringing after watching the video. See it here:
