I would like to share a conversion that I did on an old street bike.
Spent a few months working on it here and there. The frame was extended to allow space for the batteries.
The acceleration is pretty good, can definitely keep up with traffic. Having the center of gravity up so high did not really become a problem either, you just need to get a feel for it.
The next bike is going to be a light weight sportbike style, Lifepo4 cells, AC motor, and a real controller.

Gearing: 12 tooth front, 52 tooth rear. 530 Chain

Range: 18 Miles
