No, not the type you are thinking used for carrying our bikes but one the bike can tow behind it!

I seen a few articles here and there about people camping and towing small trailers behind their bikes!

How would that even hook up to the bike?  A shaft thru the rear axle, a hitch post mounted??? where exactly???

Stopping would be a real bastard, and I know how those things can tug at a car when it gets a bit windy, I can't even imagine the abuse you'd receive on a bike towing one of them!  you'd get great regen miles though !!

How would you even hook one to an Energica bike?  Id expect an Experia or Ribelle might handle it but an Ego, hmm.
How do you rate motorcycles for towing capacity?
Is it even doable with an Energica?
Has anyone done one yet?  Please share.

I would be very interested in a small trailer, maybe a few hundred lbs capacity tops, for making deliveries on my bike, IF it's even remotely doable and semi safe.

Expect range to be cut in half. That's what happens when electric cars tow.

Oh at the very least cut in half, but what about handling.  A car can tolerate a lot more BS than being on a bike and making turns, hmm could get VERY interesting.  A car will drag a trailer around with it, a trailer could very well drag the bike with it!!  NOT a good thing.

Where I live, a bike with trailer is only allowed maximum speed of 60 km/h  So, it's a no-go.

Found this pic in a German forum but without a link to the manufacturer. Look sleek though!  Seems to be fixed on something mounted on the rear axle.
