Diagnostic screen
« on: February 05, 2023, 09:56:14 PM »

How do you exit the diagnostic screen?

When I go to that screen, I can't figure out how to get off of it.  The only thing that works for me is turning off the bike.

What is the proper procedure?

Is it not the "Back" button on the front side of the left switchgear..??

"Back" button , if you mean pushing the mode button to the left, does not exit the screen which shows the picture of the bike and the title of the screen is diagnostics.

I have not found a way to exit that screen except to turn off the bike.

I can't find anyway to navigate off that screen.

Anyone?

I have experienced the same thing your are going through with the same solution, turn the bike off.

I have experimented a little and found no other way to get out of the diagnostic screen.

Apparently they (Energica) do not want anyone using it....makes me wonder why it's an option.

Or maybe to do the diagnostics it loads a different programming set, sets relays etc and other things to do the diagnostics, and the only way to get back into the normal drive mode is a power down reboot.  If this is the case they could at least put a notice, to 'restart bike' or something or an off button.

Ive had this happen with my bike as well. I was waiting for a train to pass and went into the diagnostic. Couldnt really do anything with it. Looked away for a while and by the time the train passed it was back to the speedo screen. Just timed out for me.

Instead of powering it totally down.  Just try briefly blipping the power button.  I have done that to be rid of the keyfob error message.  Or press the start switch again (NOT KILL) but to start again, and see if that clears it

No, I mean the "back" button, it lives on the front side of the left handlebar switchgear..might work, might not.. :o
