Automatic Charger - without braking warranty - ZERO++
« on: December 20, 2021, 11:42:53 PM »

Good evening!

I was always in trouble to treat the battery well and to be charged to the right soc at the right time.
Also in wintertime, we have -20°C in Autria, keep the battery warm an cosy and and the right soc.

So i decided to build an automatic charger
 8) place date, time and a soc- target an your bike will be ready for you
:o choose winter- mode and the bat. stays charged to a certain level and at a choosen temperatur
;D or simply charge instandly and balance the bat.

Have fun

Hola!

It's a little gadget to be placed beween your wallsocktet und your charger(s).
The communication with the bike is done over the OBDII connector.
A heater for the battery may also be connected and controls the batteries temperature.

and where - in good old fucking cold Austria
had a little time left during the corona - lockdown  :o

By setting a specific target state of charge (SOC) for your battery, you can ensure that it is always ready to go when you need it. Additionally, the winter mode you mentioned could be very helpful in keeping the battery warm and maintaining it at the appropriate SOC during colder months.

Balancing the battery during charging is also important to ensure that all cells are charged evenly and the battery operates efficiently. With an automatic charger, you can ensure that the battery is charged properly every time without having to worry about doing it manually.

without having to worry about doing it manually.
