Energica Experia in Black
« on: November 14, 2022, 08:48:17 AM »

You could see this bike in their launch video, but looks like it's now the main photo on the Experia page on the Energica website:

https://www.energicamotor.com/us/models/energica-experia/

I think it looks fairly good.

Also in this video he shows one in black, white, a police version, and the launch edition: https://youtu.be/h5HTr03tzBw?t=171

Still not configurable, but it's coming I'm sure.

Agree, the Black Experia is indeed nice to look at. If I had the option when ordering I would have gone for the black version....but alas, it wasn't an option on the "launch edition". :(

I won't be sure of anything until I see it, but I think I would prefer red or blue.

But my Metallic gold/black Harley sure looks nice.

I really like the black one. The more I see close up videos of the new Experia the more tempted I am to order one. Unfortunately I would have to give up my Ribelle since I don't have the room for 3 bikes in my garage. :/

Motorbikes just need more colour options in general, pretty sick of "midnight black" and "tactical grey" being the only options. Motorbikes used to be colours.

I consider black & gray motorcycles unsafe due to visibility issues, esp. at dusk or fog conditions. It used to be that most of a bike's painted surface was the nominal color, but increasingly that color is applied only to part of the gas tank, and everything else is some flat black, so at best 20% of the bike actually stands out.
I don't know if there's research on bike color and accident participation, but there's certainly lots of research on it w.r.t. cars.
