Finally here!! and a question ;)
« on: May 16, 2022, 05:17:35 PM »

First of all thanks for all the infos that i found here, it mades me took the plunge and i ordered (some weeks ago) a Ribelle RS in rosso corsa, with red details on the wheels.

Here s my review after few hundreds kilometers......oh my god i love this bike  ;D

I always had bikes with a "soul" (had speed triple, streetfighters, panigales, FTR...) and to be honest was a little scared that EV was going to mute that....it's not. It s an amazing bike, the weight isn't that bad once ou get used to the slightly different geometry.

So to everyone who is lurking in this forum waiting for their deliveries or wondering if this bike is for them, it exceeds by far my expectations and it s totaly worth the price.

So here is my question to the experts:
I've tried to change the blinkers to put some Rizoma Ones (I've an EU ribelle RS if it changes something)
The front works directly without resistor. Flashing is a the appropriate speed, however i get a message on the dash saying "turn indicator fault", they works but i get the message everytime.

When i tried changing the rear ones, it just doesn t work (neither the front or rears). Tried with one resistor (rizoma OEM) without success.

Any ideas?

Very nice.  Very RED.  Just in time for summer weekend tours.
Enjoy.

Ha, yeah I'm hearing that more and more.
If the price, range, and charge speed gets just a bit better it should be the tipping point since the "ride feel" has always been better.

I also replaced my (front only) with Rizoma Vision turn signals. The Rizoma package doesn't include the correct resistors for these bikes. The resistor you need is 21.5 Ohm. I got ones that are made by R&G as that is what was available locally: https://www.cyclegear.com/parts/rg-racing-turn-signal-resistors. My signals work fine and I do not get an error message.

:-\ the Euro Ribelle turn OEM signals are LED already so i'm not sure the 21.5 Ohm will work

Euro turn signals: LED 13.5V - 1.89W
US turn signals: incandescent 12V - 10W

Cool bike! I just got the non-RS version in the same color scheme.

You could measure current going to the new turn signals and calculate a resistor yourself to level out the current draw, then splice it into the turn signal wire and be done with it.

I agree that RS is a bit of joke as at the end it's nothing more than a sprocket and a sticker but for once that i ll not change the exhaust  ;D

Hmm you re right. Just need to get my hands on an electricity manual as i've left highschool "few" years ago
