2021 Ribelle EMCE - Battery bag and swing arm covers.
« on: January 11, 2022, 02:35:28 AM »

Yeah, but you didn't see this subject before in ANY motorbike forum :D

So,

1. Battery bag.
Between the swingarm and battery there is a lot of space. Space where I could mount a bag!
The battery has got 2x M6 bolt holes as you can see on the picture.

In the perfect world i would find a Click-On Tail bag for bicycles (The ones which can be locked with a key), that would fit nicely, and where I could just mount the Click-On bracket with 2x M6 bolts and then I could click in the bag from the right side of the bike and voila - A hidden bag that could hold anything from charging cables to undies.

I have not yet been able to find a bicycle bag that would fit. Most of them have the wrong shape and size.
I also thought about finding something else and making sort sort of DIN-rail mount on the battery, where I could slide the bag onto and lock the bag to the DIN-rail so that it would not slide off, but I haven't found a solution yet.

Any ideas?

2. I want to use the cavity in the swingarm for storing a lock and charging cable or something like that, so I need to be able to close up the holes with some plastic pieces or something. I was wondering if someone has got a 3D drawing for such pieces? The one toward the back is around 80mm x 60mm and the on towards the battery is 100mm x 800, both in Pill form.
I don't know if a lock is necessary, but if it is then i guess that one of those cheap "Locker locks" perhaps.

Yes there is one on Thingiverse but that one need to be altered if you want to remove it. It is well made but once mounted it is clamped, so it just stays in place due to this tension.
I made my own version and that one is secured with only one bolt, I can take a picture but the .stl file is lost with the hd crash I sufferd.

Cool. Okay, that is why you should use Google Drive :D
Yeah please send a picture.
Regarding the Thingieverse one I was thinking of adding some handle with an arm that lock it into place. Like a normal locker lock, just without the lock :)
For the hole in the rear the plain one would be nice. No need to remove that one.
Do you remember some of the measurement ?

That was kind of what I did, I've drawn a brand new one that has just enough clearance to get in and out smoothly and easily. In the middle I used a sunk stainless steel bolt of M6 with a flat slat at the back that rotates like a lock. A bit what you describe, mind you, this was the first thing I had drawn myself with Designsparkle and it is beautiful on the outside, but I would do the back completely differently now, but luckily you don't see that. I will take a picture wen I'm back in my shop and post it here.
