Watched the attach review. Looks like exactlt I have been searching for . I think I heard the bike has different names in different countries depending on the distributors.
Anyone know the original manufacturer. I would like to see if they are available in Australia.

I think that Kollter is the original manufacturer, so try contacting them directly and see if they have a distributer in Australia or if they'd ship one to you.

No use just getting one shipped. To be registered in Australia it must be imported and receive a compliance plate. Far too expensive for a individual unless very dedicated and live in a Capital city ( I don't).
I will try the English Distro though. I thought I had seen a brief report on this bike, that had said it was made somewhere, and various conutries were importing under separate names. I may not have been this bike, but I think it was.

It looks so much like a 2011 Zero.

I hate that Australia get passed over so much but it's just a logistical nightmare supporting customers that far away.

I think there will be a huge wave of these types of lower spec town commuter bikes going out of China and India in the very near future that will market heavily down under.

I don't know what all your regulations are or if they sell them there but have you looked into Sur-Ron?  I know Segway has a branded version of the Sur-Ron as well.

Don't know the price but double the weight of Sur-Ron and Kuberg's even when compared to the 14-15kW motors. Never been happy with Chinese suspension - I'm looking at you FastAce

Found out it is a chinese manufacturer. That means with the current Chinese beligerence we are unlikely to see it soon in Aus.
 In stock form it doesn't actually do just over 100kph that I need anyway.
Checked out Sur ron. They don't do a registerable bike that will do over the 100kph. And the Aus distributor seems to have no interest in selling them if they make one.

Not sure about availability but at that price the fastest bike would probably be the Super Soco TC Max which can just about do 100km/h, of course if you're a big guy, it's windy, you encounter a hill, or the battery isn't near full then that speed is going to drop. There's also the Horwin CR6 Pro which will supposedly hit 105km/h but it's also a bit more expensive and even less likely to have a dealer where you are.

Checked out the Super Soco TC max a while ago. Most of the test/reviews said they couldn't get to to 100kph except downhill. I like the design of it and they are available here at a good price, but if it can't get to 100kph I'm dead.
I go out of the estate straight onto a 100kph narrow 2 lane road with big ditches either side. The semis do 100kph on their cruise control and are speed limited to 100kph which is where they drive.
I would have bought a Super Soco TC max already if I thought they could actually do the speed limit. They only have a tiny handful of kph to get there. I believe they are actually limited but am unable to find a hack. I will make a fairing and change the seat and bars to get better airflow, but the limiting will mean I don't get any extra speed. I am pretty average weight (85kg), which really only aaffects the accelleration, not top speed, on the flat.

People kepp saying that. 2 problems. First Zero has withdrawn from Australia. Second ,they were insanely expensive in Aus. This country has a habit of some person seeing an opportunity to make a killing and importing something then charging a huge premium because they get a exclusive deal. Usually with no support for the product locally ( They are there to make money, not interact with the product).The product then gets a reputation for unreliability, or lack of support or just plain ripoff from the distributor. I don't know if this is what happened to Zero, because it was jus before my interest in getting an emotorcycle, but it is the norm. And it's a shame as I think Zero is a fine product, though more bike than I need.
It is almost certain that the bike I end up with will be Asian of some sort , most likely China ( getting less likely as China goes to economic war with the world), India, Taiwan ( hopefully), Korea, Thailand  or India. Anything out of the first world will to too exspensive to be economic.
I should add that getting a bike so it can be registered in Australia, requires prohititive standards testing for the compliance plates.

My understanding from posts on this forum that is exactly what happened when Zero tried to import their motorcycles into Australia. I think that was about 8 or 9 years ago.  I gather that Zero just gave up as it was too much trouble importing their motorcycles into Australia and providing any sort of service through their distributor.
