Okay, I've only come up with ONE thing about the Corbin that has been annoying me lately and it's something I need to figure out for myself. For YEARS I've gotten into a habit that I'm finding very difficult to break. Basically, it's this: I store my gloves inside my helmet when I'm not wearing either.
On every bike I've ever owned, my "mounting" ritual goes like this:
1) Key in the ignition, unlock the fork (don't start it yet).
2) Take the gloves out of the helmet, lay them on the pillion saddle.
3) Put on the helmet, secure the neck strap, zip up the jacket.
4) Put on the gloves, throw my leg over the saddle, turn the key to the "ON" position
5) Raise the bike off the sidestand, kick the sidestand up, push the starter button (not necessary on the Zero)
6) Ride off.
Thanks to the shape of this new Corbin saddle, however, I have to add step:
3A) Bend over, pick the gloves off of the ground as they slid off the saddle
Eventually I'll get the hang of this...
