Eltek FP charger wiring
« on: August 05, 2020, 05:22:35 PM »

Hello,

I recently put together a fast charger charger for my 2014 SR composed of two Eltek Flatpack 48/3000W in series and I was unsure if adding a single FP 48/2000W in parallel of one of the 3000W would work or destroy the charger.

Should I just buy a Flatpack with a 110-120VDC output and put it in parallel of the whole charger?

That will not make the charger more powerful.
You can use 2xFP 48/2000W , to make another charger, and use both chargers in the same time, but 10KW may be to much for your battery pack, and the BMS may disconnect the batteries from the charger.
