I'm pretty sure they haven't ruined their press announcement on 2/24, although it's reasonable to say that today's release happened because of the leaker.

I think they've arranged some live event with journalists trying the bikes out, so it can't be a real wash.

Seriously, is a bunch of photos and a promo video going to ruin a bunch of hands-on reports for you?
Any excitement and surprise from the announcement will now be gone. Those hands on reports probably won't be telling us any more than we already know, it's a bit more comfortable SR/F with a fairing you can tuck behind.

I've read that a similar thing happened with the SR/F, early leaks, but at least with that it was a whole new bike that no one had ridden before and presumably things still to learn. Perhaps this time Zero will have learned not to tease things a month in advance, or maybe they get more hype from these leaks and they're doing it themselves.

Here's some glossier coverage from The Verge, "the Gulfstream of electric motorcycles" which is certainly marketing-speak but outside of our little inside baseball forum circles might actually convey what makes an electric motorcycle with a fairing different.

I see that the SR/S has a bobble-head front brake master cylinder reservoir just like my BMW F650GS.   ::)

Nothing new the SR/F has the same. And SR/S still has the ugly gap of the trunk lid. I though they solved it.

Zero has their website for the SR/F up and running.  But what has me scratching my head is the statement that Standard models require the purchase of a $500 "Accessory Power Panel" when the Power Tank is ordered.  (Hover over the "?" next to the Power Tank block.)  I wonder what that does and why it is apparently not required on Premium versions.   ???

It appears to be extra new pos and neg bus bars for the batt.  The instructions for Rapid Charger for non-Premiums mentions installing the bus bars on the battery, this part is omitted for the Premium install instructions.  The premium we installed the rapid charger already had those.  Gives the battery more connection points.  The Power tank likely goes to one of the new terminals.

The pos and neg bus bars are $700 as spare parts, so maybe they bundle them to a deal.

#26 and #27 in the schematic

many of the new part #s released today have no pricing or a way to order them yet.
