So, I performed one test ride (before your recent change) and already lost one of the pegs, so it'd definitely help to see how well you can improve its anchoring into the footpeg.

But overall it seems like a good design. My one ergonomic request is to have the top of the peg have an arc shape, because my feet don't rest flat on the peg without flexing my boot ankles.

Honestly, I think I'll just spend the $10 or whatever to get sport footpegs again (which will mean I have 3 sets of DS footpegs lying around if anyone wants them), and then I'll try to fit some rubber wrappers around them. Or I'll try to find some Buell footpeg replacements with pads.

I am so sorry to listen to that. I have improved the design and now it attaches to the footpeg much stronger and it is almost impossible to lose it (it is indeed hard to remove them). If you want, please explain to me what do you mean exactly about the arc shape and I will print a new copy of them for free for you.

Do you mean that you prefer the top to be curved instead of flat?

Thanks; I'm sure the new revision will stick better. I'll shop around a little more carefully this time for the cheapest fabrication option.

I do just mean that a curved top (front to back) would seem easier for my boot treads to grip. Probably not much, like 10 degrees slope at the front edge.

If we get this all sorted out, it'd be nice to produce a batch of these from a mold.

That looks perfect, thank you! I think most dual sport peg rubbers tend to have an arc like that, but I can't say for sure whether while standing it really helps. I just know that around town, my leg and knee are bent enough on the DS that it would seem helpful.

This model is harder to print because there is no flat surface where to start the printing. I am trying some alternatives and will let you know how it goes!

Ah, I wondered how that worked. Okay thanks for trying but it’s okay if it’s simpler as long as it anchors well.

I managed to print it standing on a side. The results works perfectly (it has some visual imperfections but it attaches strong and safe), however it is too tall for me but may fit someone needs. My suggestion is to find some cheap printing service to try the different models and find the better for you

I decided to buy the $10 pair of Zero sport footpegs, so I might get back to this but I'm not sure. At least we have it indexed on the unofficial manual.
