Motorcycle Consumer News folds
« on: February 04, 2020, 09:22:41 PM »

Crap!  The publisher of Motorcycle Consumer News folds, is dissolving its assets and distributing whatever is left to their creditors.  Here is their announcement: https://www.mcnews.com/

Motorcycle Consumer News is (or now was) my favorite magazine and I have saved every copy since their first issue of November 1992.  Before that I was a Road Rider subscriber for many years.  Fortunately, my subscription was going to run out in August of this year, so I doubt I would receive much in the way of compensation from the bankruptcy court.

Right now my favorite remaining motorcycle magazines are Rider and the British publication, Bike.

Motorcycle Consumer News seemed to be a relatively big support of electric motorcycles and have provided some of the most complete road tests of electric motorcycles over the past 10 years or so that I have seen in a print publication, including a number of Zero models.  Another one bites the dust.   :(
