Installing or using a Chargepoint Home Flex or similar at home
« on: December 25, 2019, 11:29:43 AM »

I am wondering what your experience is of installing /using a home charging station. I am a homeowner and currently use the extremely slow 110V @ 1.1kwh stock plug to charge my SR/F. I have never used the nema 5-20r adapter which came with the charging cord, but I would assume (lack of electrical engineering) that an adapter would boost charging to 3.3kwh.  I am considering purchasing a home flex charging station from chargepoint to boost charging rate. I also would like input / insight on home values after installing a home flex station. Does a EV charging station seem like an attractive incentive when searching for a home? Thank you.

I got a good price for two of them.

Now I can double J @12KW.

I installed a Juice Box Pro 40 when I got my Honda Clarity and use it for my SR/F as well.  Works great at 6KW.

Wow a true "charging station". I like that, I'm doing some shopping around thanks for the input!
