Anyone get the SR/F Corbin heated seat?
« on: November 25, 2019, 05:20:08 AM »

Does anyone out there own this?

I’m wondering how it will be with a passenger and if you can still access the rear storage. It would look awesome I think. I guess you plug it in somewhere but not sure how.

I don't have it but it probably locks with the key like the default passenger seat does. There is dowel in the front and in the back that either the front or rear seat has a slot that it needs to slide into. Probably only the front slot is still in use with this seat since the back being one piece should be kept in place with the lock.

For connection the 12V battery is below that seat so they can just have it connected directly to that.

Hopefully it doesn’t connect directly to the battery. Zero put a hefty warning there and service people I’ve asked say they’d like that taken seriously, preferring owners route through the managed power units.

The SAE connector specifically designed for the purpose of a heated seat (or gear) is located just in front of and below the seat on the left side. It is inside some wire wrapping nylon sock (pardon the scientific name of it LOL)

See the attached picture of where it is located.

Yeah, the user manual is “not exactly clear” on this. Glad you found it :)

Even for Zero Europe (Alkmaar), it may prove beneficial to read this forum.  ;)
